Drita Dushaj obtained her law degree from ULB in 2002 .
Since 2002 , she has been a lawyer at the French-speaking bar in Brussels and, alongside a general practice, has specialized in private international law, family law, criminal law and foreigners’ law. She is a member of the “criminal”, “family” and “foreigners” sections of the French Order of Lawyers of the Brussels Bar.
Since 1995 , she has held a degree in information and communication / journalism option.
Since 2007 , in collaboration with the International Red Cross and the Belgian Red Cross, it has contributed to the dissemination, development and respect of International Humanitarian Law ,
From 2007 to 2017 , she served as a policy expert at the International Criminal Court.
From 2017 to 2020 , she was a substitute jurisconsult at the European Court of Human Rights.
Trained in mediation, she obtained certification as a mediator approved by the Federal Commission and she practices mediation and other amicable methods of conflict resolution such as collaborative law on a daily basis.
She is a member of APNU (the Association for the United Nations / promotion of the UN in Belgium).
She has participated as a speaker in various training courses and conferences on human rights and has published on these subjects.

She has a good command of Serbo-Croatian and Russian and a passive knowledge of Italian, Dutch and Arabic.
